What each color represents?

As we all know when we talk of fashion, colors portray different significant. Knowing those is an important matter.

Colors are actually part of our daily life, everything we see have colors. But most of us are not aware of what each color use to represents. Colors do have a significant value in our lives, without color everything seems to be boring and no life at all.

Fashion designers like Ralph Lauren give importance to color as this affect all their designs.

According to research the way people respond to color is influenced by mixture of biological, psychological, social and cultural factors, the messages most colors sends are result of dynamic cultural and social factors. Different colors are listed below with their corresponding meaning that is based on symbolism in contemporary Western societies:


WHITE
It reflects light and considered as a summer color. Wearing white will make you feel cool. Brides wear, white expresses innocence and purity. Doctors and nurses wear white as it connote sterility. White colors show dirt easily therefore much harder to keep it clean compare to other colors.

BLACK
It is actually the most stylish color in fashion world. It absorbs light and could make people look slim. In our commercial society color black shows authority and power.

RED
Red emphasizes passion and love, it is also considered the most emotionally intense color. It may also make a person feel hot and bothered by fleeting the pulse and increasing the breathing rate.

PINK
It is a color that is so tenderhearted and calm that describe a feelings of innocent romance, contrast to color red. Furthermore, it convey energy and relax. It is actually the color that is advisable to wear on a date.

PURPLE
Seldom found in nature. It normally represent luxury, royalty, wealth and sophistication. It is also a color of romance, power and femininity.

BLUE
This is a color that is considered the most popular among any other colors as it can be seen in so many places such as the sky, ocean, blue eyes and blue jeans. It represents loyalty and tranquility.

GREEN
Color that is calming and refreshing and represents the nature as well. It describes prosperity and during the medieval period, brides wore this color to express fertility and fruitfulness.

YELLOW
It is the most difficult color to process by our eyes and can also be overpowering. It is also believe that this color may speed up someone's metabolism.

ORANGE
This color can be used to command attention. It also signifies warmth, energy and health.

BROWN
It is obviously an earth color that is abundant in nature. It symbolizes reliability and structure that is why it is ideal to wear in the office.

Don't take color for granted, give value to what each color used to represent as this may help you in your everyday living. Color really matters!
