Just like in a prom night, guys also look for the perfect outfit as girls do. Formal dress for guys isn't complicated as it is for us girls.

- Stick to your signature look
Though prom calls for a formal attire it doesn't mean that you have to change your style. There are lots of way in which you can let your style shine through your tuxedo. You just have to be creative enough. Remember that when finding for the outfit to be use at the prom you have to consider these things: jacket length, color and what you choose to wear underneath (oxford, vest or tie).
- Coordinate with your date
Before you would look for your tuxedo it would be better if you would check first your date's dress, the color and material of her dress. You can even ask for her preferences with regards on the style of your tuxedo. You may also add tie or cummerbund to have a very cool touch but it should coordinate well with your tuxedo. Coordination really matters!
- Don't be afraid to be stylish
You may choose a bow tie as they are of traditional choice. A cummerbund adds a classy touch. You may even take a cue from a celebrity on their red-carpet-style. You can copy their style from head-to-toe or even modify it by adding splash of color.
- Little details do count
You have to consider your hair, cologne and accessories as well as it matter too much on your entire look. Trimmed your hair a week before the date of the prom and try styling it. Add some accessories and splash on your favorite cologne.
