A trench coat or trenchcoat is a raincoat made of waterproof heavy-duty leather. It generally has a removable insulated lining and it is usually of knee-length. It was made as an alternative to a serge greatcoat worn by British and French during the first World War.
At later years, trench coat has become a fashionable outer garment. Women mostly like trench coat with slimming effect and yet keeping warm during cold days. Trench coat comes in variety of length, colors, styles that suits everyone's fashion perspective.
